Outside influences affect Brazilian tribes

Tribal leaders on the first reservation that was created in Brazil are worried that their way of life is being lost due to encroachment and other outside influences.
The 10,800-square-mile Xingu Reservation was established in 1961 and is home to 14 tribes. Each tribe has its own language and culture.
The reservation is in the middle of a large agricultural region. Farming and logging outside the reservation have led to pollution.
Technology, in the form of television and radio, has also affected culture.. Tribal leaders say their youth are easily influenced by the images.
