BIA sued for rights-of-way on Ute Reservation in Utah

Three members of the Ute Tribe of Utah have filed suit against the Bureau of Indian Affairs over rights-of-way granted to irrigation companies.
The landowners say the BIA allowed two companies to trespass and damage their trust property. The suit seeks $10,000 in damages from the agency.
The irrigation companies have their own suit against the three tribal members, seeking to continue use of the rights-of-way while the dispute is heard in court.
