Bush to seek $70B more for Iraq, Afghanistan

The Bush administration will seek an additional $70 billion for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, The Washington Post reports.
The request will be in addition to the $25 billion already appropriated for fiscal year 2005. Altogether, the wars have cost $225 billion since the invasion of Iraq in March of last year.
Bush administration officials have said one of the reasons for limited increases in Indian funding is the war.
