Senate hearing on Interior Department backlogs

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee held a hearing this morning on backlogs at the Interior Department.

The hearing addresses backlogs in land-into-trust applications, environmental impact statements, probates, appraisals and lease approvals. The following witnesses testified:
