Aquash murder suspect loses extradition appeal

John Graham, a Native man from Canada, will be extradited to the U.S. to face trial for murdering American Indian Movement activist Anna Mae Pictou Aquash.
Graham fought U.S. attempts to extradite him. But Canada's Supreme Court rejected his final appeal on Thursday.
Aquash, who was Mi'kmaq from Canada, was murdered on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota in December 1975. Graham and another man, Arlo Looking Cloud, were charged with her death.
Looking Cloud, who is Lakota, was found guilty of first-degree murder and is serving time in federal prison.
