North Dakota tribe headed to Democratic convention

The
Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota will be one of the many tribes represented at the upcoming
Democratic National Convention.
Chairman Marcus Wells Jr. and Roger White Owl, the tribe's administrative officer, are headed to Denver next week for the August 25-28 event. The tribe is nonpartisan but White Owl said the convention is a good place to meet with key policy makers.
"The networking ability with individuals who are going to be there is just going to be amazing," White Owl told The Minot Daily News.
