NMAI in DC hosts first ever 'Native Skate Jam'

The
National Museum of the American
Indian in Washington, D.C., is turning into a skate park for the July 4 weekend.
As part of the
Ramp
It Up exhibit, the museum is hosting the first "Native Skate Jam." Skateboarders from across Indian Country will host demonstrations from July 3-5.
"Skateboarding is getting really big on reservations," Todd Harder, a Creek skateboard enthusiast who will be attending the NMAI events, told the Associated Press.
